The ECE Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing the developmental program goals of the center using a team approach, supervising the activities of infant / toddler children and maintaining strong professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Duties include:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate developmental play-based emergent curriculum
- Supervise and provide guidance to children during daily activities
- Work well within a teaching team
- Build positive, professional relationships with families
- Attend and participate in regular meetings, professional development, and conferences
Qualifications:
- 24 semester units in Early Childhood Education - may also consider 12 units and enrolled based on experience
- Infant Development course required for Infant/Toddler positions
- AA or BA degree preferred
- Valid Child Development Permit
- Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification
- Direct teaching experience with young children in a child care center setting
