About The Role
TES are currently looking for Earthing Assistants within Electrification.
We are offering the ideal candidate, full training including PTS which is a fantastic opportunity for casual work within the rail industry. This position is safety critical and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical.
Shifts will be a variation of Days and Nights over Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Appropriate notice will be given for required cover.
On offer is an hourly rate of £13.00 (Midweek) £14.50 (Weekends). If you are looking to “train” within a new industry, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well - established company and work with an extremely dedicated team of rail professionals.

About You
The position will require travelling within the area so a full UK driving licence is essential with your own transport.
Ideally you should have the following knowledge and experience:

- Able to commit to weekend and night shifts Friday to Monday
- To follow all reasonable instruction and work under the direction of the Nominated Person/Authorised Person
- Carry out general labouring and track duties
- Ensure that the correct PPE is worn and competencies carried at all times when on duty
- Participate in briefings as required
- To work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations
- Attend all courses and training briefings as required
- Undertake store duties as required including picking and sorting equipment, calibration and stock checking
- To act in a professional manner at all times
