Are you looking for a change and a new challenge? Come and join our wonderful team here at Trowse Primary School. We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with our Reception children from June 2023. The right person needs to be creative, committed and enthusiastic and you will be working as part of our team with our EYFS children. This is a very exciting opportunity to join an outstanding school, in a new purpose-built building. The role will be a permanent position (subject to probationary period). Working hours (8:45 – 3.15 with 1 hr 15 for lunch)
We realise that getting the right person to join our team is really important, no two days are ever the same and you will be busy and adaptable. Ideally, you will also have the following skills and attributes :
- a passion for working with young children, showing them respect and kindness to foster their all-round development;
- experience of working with young children (Early Years preferable, but not essential);
- knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- an understanding of the teaching of phonics;
- possess good personal literacy, numeracy and ICT skills;
- you are flexible, calm and enjoys working as part of a strong team;
- you have the interpersonal skills to develop positive and supportive relationships with all
- you have the ability to use their own initiative to support learning needs of children
- you need a sense of humour and lots of energy!
