ESports Tutor - Unqualified
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent, (37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri, 8:30am – 4:30 pm)
Location: Wolverhampton Centre
Salary: £20,500 - £23,000 per annum, (Depending on experience & qualifications)

ESports has seen incredible growth over the years and is still expected to grow at a compound rate, which is why we have this exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an ESports Teacher/Tutor based in our Wolverhampton centre.
Nova Training is one of the UK’s most popular and experienced training providers operating for over 30 years in Study Programmes and Apprenticeships. Nova now operates its 14-24 provision from 13 locations located across the West Midlands and East of England.
Our programme delivery now includes; 16-18 study programmes, pre-apprenticeships, provision for learners with high needs, apprenticeships and 14-16 alternative provision.
Rated as Good by Ofsted in all areas of provision for offering a variety of education options to young people.
As an Esports Teacher/Tutor you will be delivering modules across the:
- BTEC Level 2 Diploma in ESports
You will need to provide innovative and creative lessons to a diverse group of talented students that share the same passion for gaming, to become successful in gaining a recognised qualification which will help them to progress into a career of esports, gaming, teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embed and deliver Functional Skills in English, Maths
- Ensure the company is up to date with ESports news and that our resources reflect this.
- Ensure learners overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet their needs.
- Empathise with, engage and motivate learners.
- Assess learners work towards BTEC qualification in ESports.
Requirements:
- Relevant ESports experience and fundamental knowledge of the industry
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths
- Passion & desire to teach
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Willingness to undertake any relevant Teaching Qualifications necessary.
Full, clean UK Driving License
