E-commerce Store Manager - Full Time

Core Role Responsibilities
Success in this role depends on strong strategic thinking, sharp hands-on marketing skills, and the ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of our customers, the technical problems they face, and how our products help solve them. Because of the technical nature of our customers and products, a strong interest in and aptitude for self-assembly products is important.
Marketing Strategy
Competitive understanding and market intelligence
—Be expert on our competitors and customers—who are they, how they buy, what their business priorities are and what their competitive advantages are. Gain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape using gap analysis, to take advantage of their value gaps and opportunities.
KPI's
Marketing campaigns
Plan, coordinate and/or execute effective marketing campaigns; especially digital marketing campaigns such as email marketing, content marketing, digital ad campaigns, and marketing automation.

Basic Understanding of SEO
3 years or more experience in digital marketing
Experience related to e-commerce retail in a UK or managed an e-commerce store with a sales revenue in excess of £5m

£27,500 per year
OTE: £35,000 per year

Marketing Strategy
- Create and execute end-to-end marketing strategies to drive product sales and growth to be handed to the Head of E-commerce. Managing Google Adwords and Facebook Ads Manager is part of your day to day activities.
Competitive understanding and market intelligence
—Be expert on our competitors and customers—who are they, how they buy, what their business priorities are and what their competitive advantages are. Gain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape using gap analysis, to take advantage of their value gaps and opportunities.
- Write compelling copy and/or content for our website(s) and other mediums that considers all aspects of what it takes to win online and supports the company’s brand vision. Develop positioning and messaging that uses sales copywriting best practices to resonate with our target buyer personas and drive conversions/sales/revenue.
- Understanding and analysing competitor pricing and reacting to the market.
KPI's
- Use marketing analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns on an ongoing basis, and report back to the Head of E-commerce on required changes. Follow and analyse market trends to identify opportunities and properly position the company, and its offerings.
