You would be part of the busy Sales and Customer Service team for The Diamond Store, who are one of the UK’s largest online jewellers and winners of “UK Online Jeweller Of The Year”.

Your job would be to build rapport with customer via email, livechat and/or telephone in order to convert sales enquiries into customers. This will be done by selling and promoting our wide range of jewellery to meet the needs of the customer time and time again.

What we require.

Someone who enjoys selling and providing a great personal customer sales experience. You must be able to work as part of a team but also work on your own initiative. To support with after sales process to ensure customer has the full Diamond Store experience.

Your daily duties would include:

• Communicating with customers regarding sales and service enquiries via livechat, email and telephone.
• Upselling, link selling and cross selling to obtain full sales potential.
• Handling customer delivery enquiries and order updates.
• Working towards and exceeding targets.
• Managing own work load and customer contacts.

Requirements For The Application

Previous retail/ customer service experience is required and previous Livechat experience is a bonus!

You must have a confident telephone manner and be able to write clear and concise customer focused emails in English.

Being able to easily learn new systems and online technologies is important and any knowledge of the following would be of huge benefit.

Trengo livechat system / Hubspot / Outlook/ Microsoft Teams

All systems, guides and knowledge of jewellery will be given to the successful applicant.

Working from Home

Although working from home, you will be required to ensure that you have a comfortable and quiet home working environment with a great internet connection and are able to take and make telephone calls without distraction. Equipment not provided, must have access to laptop or desktop.

Job Types: 12-20 hours, Part-time, evenings and weekend shifts. Temporary seasonal contracts for up coming festive period. Must have flexibility for overtime during peak trade.
