What we’re looking for

The eCommerce Manager will be based in our central London head office. You will have full ownership of growth and responsibility for day-to-day management of our e-commerce website, our trade (B2C) website, our Amazon and Faire marketplace stores. You will also be involved in shaping the strategy and direction of our e-commerce B2C & B2B business. You will report directly to the two co-founders of the business.

You will be responsible for;

1. Sales Growth. Driving revenue and transaction growth of our E-commerce website and our Amazon Marketplace Site (Seller Central) and Zola, Macys and Faire Marketplace Sites.

2. Expansion of Product Assortment. Identifying potential new products, brands, and suppliers, to expand our e-commerce offering.

3. Website Adminstration. Product setup and product listings on our website and marketplaces.

4. Making Data-driven Continuous Improvements. Ongoing analysis of online traffic, conversion rates and store performance; reporting detailed findings to management; making recommendations for continuous improvement.

5. Manage Digital Marketing Budget. Work hand in hand with our Marketing Team to optimise digital marketing spend across search engines and social media (currently deployed via agencies), that results in ROI growth.

6. Explore new revenue-generating Projects. Identifying other Direct to retail sales opportunities (such as other online marketplaces, and offline opportunities).

YOUR PROFILE

You will be someone with strong online trading experience, who loves working in a busy, entrepreneurial team, and you will relish the opportunity to contribute a strong commercial impact. You will have an eagle eye for detail and be super organised. You will be numerate, as well as having strong written skills to create compelling product listings and website copy. You will not be deterred by working in the detail to problem solve a range of challenges. Specifically, you will have:

1. Online Trading Experience. A good strategic understanding of online retail, ideally with 3+ years’ experience working in an e-commerce managerial and strategic role.

2. Digital Marketing. Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, Email Marketing, affiliate marketing and social media marketing.

3. Web Analytics. A strong understanding of customer journey, web analytics and conversion rates, customer loyalty programmes.

4. E-Commerce Platform Knowledge. Ideally, you have prior experience with managing Amazon stores and have used the Seller Central platform. Ideally, you have prior experience using the Shopify platform.

5. CRM and email marketing experience. Ideally, you have prior experience with creating targeted, personalised campaigns, using the marketing automation programme Klayvio.

6. General Skills. Strong copywriting skills, to create compelling product listings. Experienced user of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, powerpoint. You will also be highly organised and detail-oriented; and won’t be put off by managing large amounts of data in systems and spreadsheets. Our product range is extensive, and there is a large quantity of data involved in bringing new products to market and ensuring they are presented attractively.
