The AM team is the primary owner of the success of merchants on TikTok Shop and their responsibility spans across multiple areas including merchant onboarding, merchant growth, reporting and cross-functional initiatives. In this team you will have the opportunity to see all phases of a merchant's lifecycle on the platform and support them in being successful on TikTok Shop. In the Home, Electronics and Books team, we focus on working with those merchants that sell products in the consumer electronics, home & living and books categories.

Joining the e-commerce Industry team will give a holistic view of how to grow and scale merchants and sellers on the TikTok Shop platform. Working directly with merchants, creators and internal colleagues learning and collaborating directly with the Account Management team.
Responsibilities:
Be part of the action, supporting Account Management teams & merchant sellers on their growth journey!
- Supporting the Account Management team with merchant operations (preparing seller presentations, providing clear data analysis, troubleshooting FAQ issues)
- Research industry trends, market themes, and competitor analysis and provide insights and recommendations on key promotions, products & brands that should be engaged on TikTok Shop
- Actively hunting leads, contacts and networking with potential merchants and agencies to collaborate with on TikTok Shop
- Manage small-scale merchants and support their growth journeys and how to maximise their TikTok Shop experience
- Collaborate with Creator team experts and support Creators with product recommendations, share product information, work with Account Managers to facilitate training and build confidence
- Collaborate with Live/Campaign Ops to ensure effective Live and campaign delivery and resolve any technical hurdles
- Manage Product Samples stock room & lead communications with our Studios teams, building a solid relationship that focuses on high studio hours utilisation
- Become an expert in the utilisation of tools for reporting, budget control, promotional spending and content management systems
Minimum requirements:
- Understanding of TikTok and TikTok Shop from a customer perspective/in-app experience
- Experience working with Excel and delivering actionable insights.
- Entrepreneurial approach to working through product, process, and client challenges
- Customer service orientation and experience working in a client-facing capacity.
- Great communication, analytics and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and unstructured work environment. Flexible and collaborative with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong attention to detail whilst also capable of making fast-based decisions. Effective and creative problem-solving capabilities.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or above - [desirable] work experience (Internship/Year in E-Commerce)
- Strong understanding of content, especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other content-driven platforms.
- E-commerce platform work experience and knowledge of eCom marketplaces is preferred.
- Data-driven, strong execution with attention to detail, good communication, collaborative, and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Super self-driven, able to work under pressure & enjoy building things from scratch
