John Craddock Ltd is a leading online retailer specialising in Land Rover parts and accessories, we have been operating from the same location for 40 years. We are looking for an experienced, self motivated and hard working ecommerce assistant that is willing to learn new systems, marketplaces and processes to help build our ecommerce platforms.
We are seeking a team player with an ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The E-Commerce Specialist will partner with various groups both internally and externally in order to create and implement online marketing strategies. A successful candidate will have a passion for learning about new technologies, being creative and working on exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce, Website Management & Trading
- Product development to include photography, description editing, optimisation and catalogue research.
- Work closely with the team to launch new campaigns, collections, and products on time, according to our marketing calendar.
- Set up, test and execute all online promotions and support the Ecommerce Team in delivering localised online promotions.
- Execute the visual merchandising strategy across all markets.
- Work closely with the Ecommerce Team on content and product strategy on-site.
- Optimise on-site search, as well the cross-/up-sell of products on the site.
- Optimise on-site experience and actively participate in new feature site testing and feedback to the development team.
- Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure all incoming stock is re-worked and online in a timely manner.
- Assist with marketing and general ecommerce related tasks.
- Maintain a constant and seamless communication with our Customer Service department to make sure they are informed of new site launches/product updates/issues.
Key skills/experience required
- 1-2 years’ proven experience in Ecommerce
- Shopify knowledge is preferable but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Packages.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
- Willingness to take initiative, work autonomously, and tackle complex situations.

Salary: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
