Primary Role:
The Arc Cinema is an ultra high specification luxury cinema experience to customers in Beeston and Nottinghamshire. A brand new build with 8 screens, The Arc Cinema offers something special for all movie lovers. Two HyperSense screens (giant screens, 4K laser projection, Dolby Atmos sound) offer the ultimate blockbuster experience, while smaller screens provide a more intimate movie watching atmosphere. All screens feature VIP electric recliner seats as standard. We pride ourselves in taking great care of our customers, and on becoming a central part of each community that we serve.
The Duty Manager’s role is to help the Manager with the day to day operations of The Arc Cinema, Beeston, and to deputise in their absence and to maximise the commercial performance of the business by delivering an exceptional leisure experience to customers.

Responsibilities:
· Lead, coach and mentor your team to consistently deliver an excellent cinema experience for our customers in a friendly and relaxed environment.
· Day to day management of The Arc Cinema Beeston in the absence of the Manger including P&L, staffing, stock, sales, hygiene and cash management.
· Assist in implementation and monitoring of Fire, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene legislation, policies and procedures.
· Implement standard companywide operating procedures and supervise staff to ensure adherence to these.
· Lead by example by working with staff across all areas of the facility including selling, cleaning, ushering etc.
· Gather feedback from patrons to inform management and lead to constant improvement of the customer offer.
· Deal with any customer issues or complaints which arise either during their shift or which have been handed over by Managers / Supervisors.
· Management of stock levels to ensure maximum availability and minimum waste including weekly stock takes.
· Maintain the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness at all times.
· Ensure all areas of the building are maintained to company standards and any problems are reported.
· Any other tasks within reason requested by Management and as required by the business needs.
The Person:
· A passionate customer focused individual, with a strong hospitality background (e.g. hotel, restaurant, gastro pub).
· Experience of leading / supervising staff in a customer service focussed hospitality environment.
· A natural leader who can inspire a team.
· A disciplined individual, capable of implementing operating procedures and controls.
· A commercial person who can spot opportunities
