Assistant General Manager

To ensure the smooth running of the Indoor Golf Centre whilst completing Open and Close Shifts. Safety, Service and Standards will remain the key focus on shift as well as the day to day management of the Centre and team members.

Your role will consist of running the operations on shift and managing the team as well as having an active role in sales, managing enquiries and promoting our services to local businesses.

Shifts will range from 9am-midnight across a 7 day rota.

Operational duties

  • Full key holder responsibilities
  • Open and Close the Centre ensuring that the standards expected are met and levels of service within the team are consistent throughout the shift.
  • To be customer facing on shifts and when required, providing the best service and experience possible.
  • All health and safety, compliance and service standards to be adhered to at all times.
  • To be responsible for managing the team on shift, allocating tasks, observing service and provide training to improve operation and service levels.

Team Management

  • Managing team through 121's, appraisals, observations, performance management documents.
  • Providing full training to team, identifying areas to improve and work with individuals and team to achieve set KPI's for the business.
  • Build a proactive sale culture within the business delivering financial targets.
  • Manage the team to ensure all policies and procedures and adhered to.

Manage enquiries from telephone calls, website, email and social media, including uploading content.

Operationally manage party functions, allocating team and liaising with the party guests.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
