Location: Norwich & Homeworking (However we are happy to consider candidates based across the Anglian Water region)

Here at Anglian Water, we have an exciting opportunity for a DSEAR Technical Assistant to join our Health & Safety Team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to support the management of the DSEAR (Dangerous Substance Explosive Atmosphere Regulations) compliance programme. This is a key component of our business, and you will be making a real difference every day to both our customers and colleagues.
A fundamental part of this role will be to create new or modified Hazardous Area Zone drawings based on site classification documentation. You will also be responsible for assisting the DSEAR team in managing the programme of DSEAR, including maintaining and publishing Central DSEAR maintenance records for all assets and the management of the DSEAR mailbox, ensuring all queries are actioned and tracked.
Your excellent organisational and administrative skills will be key in this role, as you will help drive a business focused service by managing general administrative support across the DSEAR team. This includes producing reports on performance & efficiency trends, and reporting on DSEAR finances.

- A demonstrable Technical focused background, either qualified or through experience.
- Good knowledge of programme management, with the ability to take ownership and prioritise workload.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of Water and Water Recycling assets and process would be an advantage.
- Highly proficient in IT and capable of using and learning new systems, such as SAP Finance.
