The Role:
To complete all administration tasks relating to Rights Requests and Consumer Credit Act’s to a high standard, ensuring we provide outstanding service excellence to our external & internal partners. All administration tasks must be completed in line with regulatory, quality and productivity targets.
This means taking full ownership of every aspect of the customer’s request, being courteous, professional and diligent, whilst adhering to Operational policies and Conduct Risk Guidelines at all times. Specific awareness and focus on Risk and Regulation including UK GDPR, ICO Requirements and Conduct Risk Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly and accurately, record receipt of and complete all requests and communications with the Data Subject, escalating any risks to management.
- Prioritise own workload to ensure all requests are processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) and within the 1 month timescale, also meeting productivity and quality targets set.
- Where timescales are unable to be achieved, ensure that any extension of this is communicated to the data subject prior to the 1 month due date, giving the reason for the delay and anticipated timescale.
- Ensure that the verification of identification is undertaken prior to disclosing any information.
- Redact necessary information and keep an internal record of redactions made (and the reasons why) prior to disclosure in accordance with current legislation, including the Redaction of any third party information where it is not possible to obtain consent of the third party.
- Amend & update account information & relevant databases where required.
- Highlight areas of improvement.
- Communicate confidently & assertively with stakeholders.
- Take every reasonable opportunity to maintain and improve your professional knowledge and competence, ensuring all mandatory training is completed within the required timescales.
- Highlight areas of improvement and support business projects as required.
- Provide reporting/analysis as required.
- Show flexibility in your duties when required.
