We are currently recruiting for a Caretaker to join our team at L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa in Jersey.
L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa is a 4 Star Hotel with 106 Hotel bedrooms and 4 staff accommodation sites for our teams. The Hotel is located on one of the best beaches on the island and offers a stunning place to come and live and work.
About the role:
This is a Full Time live in position which involves working between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm.
The successful applicant must be able to drive in order to access relevant accommodation sites and transport is provided.
We are looking for a caretaker to join our Maintenance Team at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, who will be responsible for looking after our 4 staff accommodation sites ensuring everything is clean and in excellent working order.
This role will involve general cleaning of the staff accommodation along with basic maintenance tasks - establishing if issues can be fixed, or whether contractors need to be contacted.
To be successful you will have a positive and flexible attitude with a can-do approach. You will ideally have some cleaning and general maintenance experience.
About you:
- You’ll ideally have previous and recent experience in a caretaker or cleaning role
- You’ll enjoy being responsible and taking ownership of resolving issues and working to ensure the safety and security of your fellow employees as well as our guests
- You’ll enjoy working with people and building a rapport with your colleagues
- Most of all, you’ll have a professional, organised and friendly approach
