At Apple Catering Hire, we provide hire equipment to all types of events ranging from cutlery and plates up to event furniture and kitchen equipment. We mostly work in and around our local areas, but we do also cover Central London, Hertfordshire and Essex.
We are a fast growing family run company, who have been trading in the area for over 35 years.
The department and team:
Every team member at apple catering hire plays a critical role to the efficiency of the business. Within the varied role of drivers mate/ loader you must be prepared to manage a demanding delivery schedule in our busiest periods. Additionally, you will need to ensure that you provide fantastic customer service unloading deliveries by hand.
Our routes vary and will include either a large hire order for one customer, or numerous smaller deliveries.
Day-to-day you your tasks would include loading/ unloading vans, delivering/ collecting hire items from customers homes or event venues, cleaning equipment such as ovens, fridges etc. and maintaining (including painting or minor repairs) to furniture.
Responsibilities
Make deliveries in a timely manner and phoning the office with any delivery discrepancies or delays
Load and unload orders safely and efficiently
Provide excellent customer service

Must live within a reasonable travelling distance to the warehouse – our warehouse is not located close to a train/ tube station.
The ideal candidate should be fit and strong as the position requires constant heavy lifting and walking.
Working Hours Monday 8AM-4PM, and Friday 8AM-4PM. Overtime may also be available.

Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: £170.00 per week
