Job description
About us:
- We are a bed and mattress retailer specialising in white glove two man delivery to the room of choice. We offer a bespoke and customer oriented delivery service.
About you:
- We are looking for a loading mate with a clean drivers licence to assist our full time team of self-employed drivers. The job requires to cover the role of the driver from time to time.
Our dream candidate has:
- experience in the delivery industry
- ability to safely lift and assist in lifting relatively heavy items
- track record of being punctual and extremely dependable
- experience picking and loading delivery runs
- experience with assembly services
- proficiency with iPhones and basic IT skills
- excellent time management skills
- a sense of urgency and drive to get things done to required standard
- a polite and respectful approach to customers and colleagues alike
- flexible and able to assist with ad hoc duties in the warehouse and workshop as business requires from time to time
Additional information:
- This is a full time self-employed role.
- Monday to Friday 6am start
- Foreign language skills are welcome (we have a diverse team)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
