Pay Rate: £27,384.85
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 5 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off
Location: Doncaster, West Moore Park, DN3 3FF
DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Drivers Mate to play a vital role in our daily distribution requirements. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures, with a committed attitude to Continuous Improvement, ultimately ensuring that all order deliveries are handled safely and in a timely manner.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices plus a high level of customer service, you will:
- Complete Pre Calls to customers
- Assist driver with delivery of items to room of choice
- Assemble and build items to specficiation
- Navigation and banksman work for driver
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Previous practical experience as a Drivers Mate, within a logistics or similar environment.
- Previous experience of the preparation, distribution and handling of volume orders.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or Logistics will be well received.
