Who are we?
We are a fast growing and ambitious, London based, international streetwear design & marketing company looking for a Driver/Warehouse Assistant. It’s a busy warehouse which has a great work ethic and dedication to getting our exciting products out of the door with speed and efficiency. What’s the Job?
We will need you to do the following as part of the role:
- Drive a company vehicle to deliver stock to various locations in Central London
- Loading and unloading stock deliveries
- Order picking/packing, labelling, shipping and receiving customer orders
- Put away all Inbound stock properly into selected locations
- Operate pallet trucks, and/or railcars
- Complete rolling stock checks, stock movements & stock transfers
- Be responsible for quality control to ensure that no damaged product is sent out
- Clean and maintain the working area at all times
- Liaise with Staff, Managers and field staff to ensure the above tasks are completed efficiently
In all the above tasks, safety is paramount within the warehouse, so you will be expected to follow all Health and Safety rules and policies at all times.
Our warehouse is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm and operates on a rota basis. You will work 5 days per week with some weekend shifts as part of your role.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a dedicated worker with an interest in fashion/streetwear. You will be:
- Experienced with driving a commercial vehicle (transit sized or above) in Central London
- A highly conscientious worker
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellently organised with a good level of verbal and written communication
- Able to lift heavy objects
- Fast-thinking and fast-acting in being flexible to our needs
- Able to work as part of a team or autonomously
- Highly professional and presentable
- Able to follow instructions in a cooperative and accurate manner
- Able to multitask and work in a fast paced and demanding environment
Some experience of the fashion/retail/warehouse industry would be helpful but not essential.
