Job description
Driver Hire Stockport are looking to recruit a drivers mate/porter for our client based in Handforth to work as part of a team delivering white goods. This is a long-term contract for the right candidate and opportunities will be on offer for hardworking and reliable members of staff.
Two shifts patterns:
6am till 17:00
10:30am till 21:30
Sat 6/7am till 17:00/18:00
Candidate needs to be flexible with both shift patterns & be free for the Saturday work with it being the busiest day. We require the candidate to hold a driving licence as other work may become available once in this role.

10.30ph on the AM shifts
10.59ph on the PM shifts
Weekly pay with timesheets being submitted. 45 min break's to be taken also.

- Assisting the driver with loading and unloading the Van/HGV
- Assisting the driver with wet connections, bed assembly's etc
- Calling/speaking with customers when on route/directions for drivers
- Heavy lifting is involved so you need to be physically fit and are able to manoeuvre heavy items
Personal requirements:
- A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
- Manual Handling experience
- Reliability and punctuality
- Good Team Player
- Safety boots required
- Health & Safety conscious
