Do you want to make a difference to our residents’ wellbeing and independence by driving them to their appointments and favourite locations? If the answer is yes, Avon Park is looking for a Mini Bus Driver. Set within wonderfully leafy 15 acres of landscaped grounds overlooking the Avon Valley and just 6 miles from the popular spa town of Bath, Avonpark retirement village is the perfect place to work while feeling part of a great community.
You’ll become an integral part of our residents’ daily lives when you join us as our Mini Bus Driver. You’ll be an experienced driver and will know how to engage with people and hold meaningful conversations.
You will work with the team to facilitate planned events, day trips, and short outings to local shops and places of interest.
We’re looking for somebody with great people skills and a flexible approach. Good organisation skills will also be key.
As our Mini Bus Driver, you will be responsible for the safety and comfort of our residents when driving them to their destinations. You will carry out daily safety and cleaning checks of the vehicle and report any issues to the Village Manager. You will interact with our residents on a daily basis - so you’ll be friendly, caring and kind whilst respecting our resident’s dignity at all times.
Experience / Qualification:
MUST have Category D1 on your driving license to drive a Minibus.
