Warehouse Operatives to join us at our reverse operation in Peterborough, PE1 4YT for our client.

The ideal Warehouse Operative:

• No relatable experience required - all training will be provided
• Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn something new
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work

Warehouse Operatives support the cardboard and plastic recycling process, as well as tray wash operation, for one of the leading grocery supermarkets. The site is a fast-paced, diverse environment, with plenty of development opportunities available. There are possibilities to gain a full time contract with this major international company with career progression and development.

Pay rate as a full time Warehouse Operative:
Pre 12 weeks:

• Days: 10.88p/h | Overtime: 14.09p/h
• Nights: 11.38p/h | Overtime: 14.79p/h
• No breaks paid

After 12 weeks:

• Days: 11.18p/h | Overtime: 14.39p/h
• Nights: 11.68p/h | Overtime: 15.09p/h
• Breaks paid

Typical working hours a full time Warehouse Operative:

• 06:00am until 18:00pm & 18:00pm until 06:00pm
• Flexibility and availability to work four days out of seven days or nights is required

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Load empty trays onto the wash machine ready for cleaning
• Unload clean trays from the wash machine and stack them away ready for collection
• Empty cages of cardboard onto the baling machine ready for condensing
• Ensure a hazard free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Manual handling is involved
