Driver (Minibus) - Scarborough
Grade: CD
Salary: Starting at £14,422 Term Time Only
Contract: Permanent Term Time Only
Hours: 30 hrs per week Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend (potential for more hours)

Due to expansion, we are looking for D1 Drivers to join our Integrated Passenger Transport service in providing a vital service to the residents of North Yorkshire for a September start.
Our Team
Our service is responsible for the safe and efficient use of approx. 100 minibuses used to transport people in North Yorkshire. Our team comprises approximately 300 drivers and passenger assistants that operate at locations throughout North Yorkshire.
The team delivers approximately 250,000 passenger journeys per year including 20,000 wheelchair user journeys. The transport provided enables people to access day centres, learning opportunities, supported employment and other meaningful activities in our community. We also undertake registered local bus services and community transport journeys, we also provide passenger assistants for children who require extra support to attend school.

What you will bring
As our driver you will be customer focussed, friendly and have the ability to communicate effectively with our customers and colleagues. You will need a D,D1 or D1(101) driving licence.
Shifts
Our core hours are 6:30am to 6:30pm and your shift will be within these hours, weekend work may be required which we will pay you an additional allowance per day.
