Have you worked in a busy parts team before?
Do you have experience of delivering and collecting parts?
We are looking for a Parts Delivery Driver to join our team in Manchester on a full time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will be managing part sales and deliveries, liaising with customers, ensuring you are updating and assisting with any queries all while complying with set targets.
Your main area of responsibility will include but not limited to:
- To manage and maintain parts sales & deliveries in a specific territory
- To deliver and collect parts in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
- To assist and develop customer parts sales with the objective of meeting branch parts targets whilst enhancing customer relationships
- To assist and maintain stock room duties
- To maintain cleanliness and orderliness in line with 5S programme, both in branch and in company vehicles
- To liaise with customers and assist with customer queries, keeping up with progress
- To maintain Parts Department Standards, adhere to and uphold all ISO9002 requirements
In order to perform this role effectively, you will ideally have previous experience in a similar role and therefore have a good attention to detail with excellent customer focus. You will need a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team – even taking ownership of any issues relating to that department would be key.
