Nightshift Shunter Driver / Yardman
We are looking for a reliable Yardman to help maintain stock and assist in fulfilling orders.
The role will involve:
Shunting trailers & vehicles in & out of the factory for loading.
Loading / unloading bar, mesh and coiled steel products.
Loading / unloading pallets of accessories and other products.
Controlling and maintaining required levels of stock material, including scheduled stock counts.
Overseeing the yard operations, ensuring all materials are located correctly and areas are clear and tidy.
Ensuring safety expectations are being fulfilled.
Due to the nature of this work the person will need a good level of fitness.
FLT and shunting experience are required for this role.
Hours 18:00-06:00 Monday to Thursday, 18:00-05:00 Friday. Weekends may be required.
Average weekly wage of £820, plus £50 per week night allowance. There will be an added bonus for production output (paid weekly)& attendance (paid monthly).
21 days holiday + public and bank holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £820.00-£950.00 per week
