Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

Drive concrete pump trucks to and from each project site in a punctual and responsible manner

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate site conditions and work with contractors or supervisors to park/set up the truck properly

• Operate boom and concrete pump to place concrete in desired locations, placing special focus on site instructions

• Load and unload concrete pump attachments and ensure that all associated tools are used in a safe manner

• Clean concrete pumps at the end of the day to ensure that they remain in good working condition, and to minimise breakdowns and downtimes

• Ascertain that all safety and precautionary measures are put into place before, during and after each project

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Enthusiastic, reliable and customer focussed
• Punctual with good communication skills and able to build and retain positive internal and external relationships
• A good level of mathematical aptitude
• Health and Safety Awareness
• Hold a full HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC
• Good geographical knowledge would be beneficial
• Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business to carry out various duties

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £32,893.35-£45,000.00 per year
