DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Yards Shunter / LGV C+E Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service
Pay Rate: £33,415 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off shift pattern , Days: 06:00-18:00
Location: Ashby LE65
*Candidates MUST have tug shunter experience and an LGV C+E licence*
What about your role?
As a DHL Supply Chain Driver, you will be playing your part in keeping the world moving by safely and efficiently delivering goods to our customers. We need you to:
- Experienced yard shunter using a Terberg also also RDC deliveries
- Days available on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 12 hour shifts - additional shifts paid at time and a half
- Days 06:00-18:00
- Enjoy working as part of a successful team
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Join DHL Supply Chain at a brand new site at Cross Point Business Park, Coventry CV2 2TA
What are the requirements?
- Candidates MUST have shunting experience
- Candidates MUST hold a valid LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) Driving licence
- Candidates mUST be flexible to provide shunter holiday cover at our East Midlands Gateway site
- Candidates MUST live locally to Ashby de la Zouch LE65 1PF
- Excellent communication and team working with other yard shunters and the transport team
- Flexible to additional shifts to cover peak periods, holiday, sickness etc....
- Brand new tug units so pride in your vehicle is required
