Portable Sanitation Route Driver
Carleton Environmental services is a professional, qualified and insured waste management company that was established in 1975. We provide septic services, portable toilet rentals and grease trap services.

We are looking to fill multiple positions within the company for full time route drive, with part time positions available. No weekends and flexible start times.

No experience in the portable sanitation industry necessary! We have an on-site training program and our trainers will teach you everything you need to know about the job.

What does a day in this position look like?
You will be given a daily service route within the Ottawa area each morning. This route will have anywhere from 25-40 locations in one area within the city. Starting at our office you leave and go to your first stop where you will be required to service the portable toilet(s) and continue this until the route is complete. Each truck is equipped with a vacuum pump and hose, pressure washer, storage for supplies, tools and truck bed to load and unload portable toilets with a lift gate.
What would make an ideal candidate?
- You have a valid G class drivers license. If you have a DZ license, this would be an asset but it is not required for the position
- You are a Canadian citizen and hold a Canadian citizenship
- You aren’t scared to work outside in the heat of the summer or in the cold of the winter - we work all year round.
- You have to be able to move the portable toilets around and pull the hoses. you should be somebody that can lift/lug between 40-50lbs
- Somebody that can work well independently. Although you will work closely with the office dispatcher, you are on the road by yourself most days.
Compensation:
- This role has a starting hourly pay range of $20 - $29 per hour. With the right candidate there is opportunity to expand the role, your skills and with that compensation
