MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION DRIVER

Temporary Full Time

Edmonton, Alberta


Kee Wee Tin Nok Transport Ltd. is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and dependable Medical Transportation Driver to join our talented team. This is a rewarding opportunity if you have an appreciation for First Nation culture, a desire for continuing professional development and enjoy the support and collaboration from our multidisciplinary team and various other professionals and agencies.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transport clients in the Edmonton Metro area with possibility of out-of-town driving
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients
  • Must follow all transportation safety rules and regulations
  • Must clean vehicle daily, and report any problems with vehicle as necessary
  • Must ensure vehicle is equipped with an emergency aide at all times
  • Must take direction from clerks as to coordination of trip schedule
  • Filling out and handing in daily log books, inspection reports and trip sheets
  • Assisting clients and Elders in and out of vehicle safely and securely
  • Assisting clients and Elders with wheelchairs, luggage, strollers, etc.
  • Be willing to work various shifts as needed (days, evenings, graveyards, weekends)
  • Must be available on short notice
  • Other duties as required.

Education and Experience

  • MUST HAVE – Valid Class 1, 2 or 4 Driver’s license
  • Excellent communication skills, oral, and written
  • Able to speak and understand the Cree language is an asset
  • High School Education
  • Standard First Aid/ CPR (current)
