Position: City 5-Ton Driver
Location: Edmonton, AB

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a city 5-Ton Driver who will be responsible for picking up and delivering freight/loads in a timely and safe and secure manner. This role reports to the Operations Manager. The incumbent takes charge of the entire loading/picking/delivering/completing paperwork process to ensure all orders are complete and meet appointment times.
Responsibilities:
§ Loading truck in a safe and secure manner
§ Maintains process management, and paperwork
§ Get customer signature on a tablet app at time of pickup and delivery
§ Ensures compliance with all appropriate policies, best practices, and safety rules
§ Willing to work occasional extended hours as required and able to handle up to 50-pound boxes
§ Able to pallet jack freight for pick up and delivery as required
§ Use ELD
§ Offload and load cargo by forklift, pallet jack or hand
§ Verify count and condition of goods offloaded/loaded
§ Consistently meet parameters set out for KPI bonus program
§ Other duties as required
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
§ Class 5 Drivers Licence
§ Experience in a similar role for 2 years desirable
§ Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
§ Good analytical and mathematical skills
§ Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
§ Ability to meet urgent deadlines
§ Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
Hours and Location:
§ Monday to Friday
§ Terminal Location: Edmonton, AB (West End)
Remuneration:
$22-25 per hour based on experience
