Alfa Staff are currently recruiting for x5 HGV Class 1 PM Night Drivers to work on a specialist motorway barrier contract based out of Newport.

Shifts are available 7 nights a week so you can pick your shifts to suit your personal life!

Trailer Type: Flat Bed – securing of chain and straps required

Start Times: Typically starting at 17.30-18:00 Mon – Sun

The Role:

• You are delivering/collecting temporary motorway barrier to various motorways across the UK.
• You will travel in convoy to site, offloaded/loaded by a HIAB driver on site and take back to base.
• Due to the specialist nature of the role you will be given a full induction before your first shift and will also receive on the job training.
• Full PPE is required due to the nature of the work (Hi-Viz Trousers, full sleeved vest/jacket, hard hat)

The Pay:

UMB

• Mon – Fri - £19.30
• Weekends – £24.00

PAYE

• Mon – Fri - £17.00
• Weekends - £19.00

To be successful for this role:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence (C+E) with 12 months driving experience.
• Valid Driver Qualification card (CPC)
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 minor points (No DD/DR/CD/IN/TT accepted)
