If you are a professional driver with decades of experience driving HGVs, or someone who recently started a career as a professional HGV driver. If successful, you will be driving vehicles maintained to the highest standard, equipped with industry leading safety equipment.
To be successful, you will have to live within a reasonable commuting distance from Avonmouth where our client is based.
To be successful, you will have:
- Full and valid driving licence along with CPC and Tachograph Cards
- No major endorsements on your licence
- Great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks when needed
- Excellent customer service skills
- A strong knowledge of drivers hours and tachograph regulations
- Ability and will to learn and work within our industry related accreditations
Responsibilities will include:
- Night Trunking Monday - Friday
- Working with the Transport Team to achieve customer expectations
- Full completion of company paperwork on a daily basis
- Working with Flatbeds
- Some heavy lifting involved
- Ensuring that the vehicle cleanliness is maintained at all times
- Following company policies and procedure at all times
