My Detectives t/a MD Security is a leading, bespoke and premium supplier of security officers, door supervisors and close protection officers. We aim to be the number one provider of premium security services in the country. Our services are for upmarket clients within the North West - although we are undertaking rapid expansion. Our coverage includes West Yorkshire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and beyond.
About The Role
We are seeking high-quality, experienced and skilled door supervisors for venues in Brighouse, West Yorkshire with an immediate start available for the right candidate. Successful applicants must be confident in a front-of-house role meeting and greeting customers; possess an outgoing personality; and demonstrate a positive attitude. Applicants should be able to apply situational awareness, read body language and behavioural cues to assess situations, manage conflict in a professional manner and control access/ egress. Experience in a similar role is essential. Note that we require all staff to wear formal black-tie attire (black blazer, white shirt, black tie, black formal pants and tactical boots) with no exceptions (combat pants not acceptable).

Essential Criteria
> A valid, in-date and verifiable SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection License
> Right to work documents
> A clear DBS certificate (we can apply for this on your behalf)
> Excellent timekeeping
> Conflict management skills
> Communication skills
> Teamwork skills
> Interpersonal skills
> Emotional intelligence
> Diplomacy with an ability to exercise tact and discretion
> Situational awareness
> An ability to write security related reports and statements
> Proficient in writing witness statements (although training can be provided)
> Smart and presentable appearance in line with our strict black-tie attire dress code. NO EXCEPTIONS (and no combat pants)
> Experience in a similar role as a door supervisor
Desirable Criteria
> Own transport
> Knowledge of relevant legislation including common law powers (where preventing a breach of the peace); section 24A PACE 1984; section 3, Criminal Law Act 1967; and the Licensing Act 2003 - although training can be provided
> Commercial awareness
> Ability to interact and engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds especially high-end clientele
> Flexibility
