The role is based in the Little Learners Day Nursery located within the Doncaster Deaf Trust site.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate recent experience of working in a similar role and environment.
The working hours will be 16 hours per week Monday to Thursday working from 6.00pm to 9.15pm, 6.00pm to 9.00pm on Fridays, and includes working a 5-hour shift on one Saturday per month, advanced notice will be given.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
- Vacuum cleaning/sweeping and mopping all relevant floor surfaces using equipment provided.
- Wiping and dusting all high and low level surfaces, pipes and radiators and pelmets.
- Polishing relevant surfaces with appropriate equipment (E.g. Floor buffing machines).
- Emptying waste bins.
- Cleaning wash basins, baths, showers and toilets.
- Cleaning cookers, refrigerators and fridge freezers.
- Selecting the correct cleaning material and detergents for each area.
- Reporting breakages and damages to the Domestic Supervisor.
- Reporting any suspicious substances to the Domestic Supervisor.
- Ensuring safe storage of any detergents hazardous to health in line with the requirements of the COSHH Regulations.
