Job description
Do you love dogs and enjoy keeping fit and active? Maybe you already run your own dog walking business but looking for extra clients? Or possibly you work from home but looking for an additional income/the opportunity to get out of the house for an hour each day? We are looking for a new dog walker to join our team in the Worcester area. Various hours available starting with 6+ hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, addressing any concerns or questions
- Follow specific instructions for each dog's care, including feeding and medication administration if necessary
- Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the owner or supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including kennels and common areas
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with pet sitting or dog walking is a plus
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, including those with behavioral challenges
- Knowledge of basic pet grooming techniques is beneficial
- Physical ability to handle heavy lifting, as some dogs may require assistance
