Apollo Creative will do this by working closely with our loyal distributors, focusing on our already outstanding customer service, continuing to manufacture high-quality products, and working on reducing our current lead times.
Production Operative
Full Time, Permanent Role (37.5 hrs a week)

The Role
We are looking for a strong team player who is hardworking, enthusiastic, diligent and shows attention to detail. Someones who is experienced in manufacturing, takes pride in doing a good job and genuinely loves what they do. You should be able to demonstrate a level of mechanical assembly including knowledge on using hand tools. We would like someone to work within a team but also on their own. Someone who is reliable and will take responsibility for their work to meet our quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Mechanical assembly of sensory equipment following build procedures & processes.
. Will be expected to carry out the basic electronic assembly.
. Testing of products for faults and to ensure are working correctly.
· Carrying out physically demanding work when packing goods including assembly of freight boxes for despatch.
. Studying and interpreting assembly instructions required to complete tasks.
· Completion of production records through our client’s Quality Management System (QMS) and using Excel documentation.
· Keeping a keen eye for detail to maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness and hygiene.
. Reporting and resolving assembly issues in line with our quality management standards
. Highlight supplier and internal non conformances.
· Working both as a team and on your own.
. Some lifting is involved and working on your feet.
· Hitting weekly and monthly KPIs.
· Complying with all GDPs (good distribution practices) and company rules.
· Maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues at all times.
About You
The role would suit someone who has previously worked in a manual labor environment and has a keen eye for detail to maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and hygiene. You will be a strong communicator and possess the ability to work as part of a team and on your own. Previous assembly or electronic manufacturing would be an advantage but full training will be provided. However, a positive, proactive attitude is vital.
The Ideal Production Operative will have:
· Ideally previous production operative experience.
· Experience working in a similar position with emphasis on sensory equipment.
· Experience in hand solder and mechanical build.
· Good level of IT skills.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A solid ‘team player’ attitude.
· Being comfortable with hitting KPIs (targets).
· Excellent ability to multitask and prioritise incoming workloads.
· Ability to maintain a safe working environment with a solid awareness of safety in general.
· Ability to comply with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and company rules, policies and procedures.
For the right candidate, we can offer a full time, permanent position, with a competitive salary, a 5 day working week, Monday-Thursday between the hours of 08.00-17.00 and 08.00 -12.00 on Friday.
Salary will be determined based upon experience, agreed upon at the interview and following a successful trial day. We are based in Knaresborough, own transport is essential.

Salary: £20,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
