**Position Overview:**
This role offers the chance to work with our dedicated team of pet care professionals. You will be responsible for various duties related to animal care, including dog walking, home sitting, and assisting in our Pet Sitting facilities and Dog Daycare during peak times.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Follow individual feeding plans for animals as outlined in records.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in our facilities.
- Ensure indoor and outdoor areas are clean and tidy.
- Complete all paperwork and maintain proper filing.
- Consult with clients to discuss pet care plans in their homes.
- Safely handle keys for client homes during vacations.
- Enter clients' homes securely to care for animals.
- Collect dogs from clients' homes and meet their specific requirements.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records.
- Provide client support and offer advice on our services.
- Answer phone calls and manage bookings.
- Assist with client drop-offs and pick-ups at our facilities.
- Conduct daily health checks on pets and report concerns to the manager.
- Organize and label client property upon arrival.
- Assess and report on new dogs after their first walk with Little Paws.
**Qualifications and Skills Required:**
- A strong knowledge of domestic animals.
- Enthusiasm for working in the field of animal care.
- Physical fitness and good health due to the physical nature of the job.
- Experience with animals, especially dogs, rabbits, and cats.
- A friendly and client-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
