Job description
Pups Go Walking are looking to add to our team and are seeking a reliable, approachable, attentive individual to join us.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who loves dogs and has a good understanding of canine behaviour. You will be on your feet for most of the day so being relatively fit and having a love of the outdoors is a must. Hours will be partially flexible. Previous experience as a dog walker or trainer and own transportation to use for work would be desirable.
You will walk up to 5 dogs of various sizes at one time so will need to be confident. You will shadow a member of the team, so you are able to get to know the dogs personality before taking them on your own.
This is a self-employed long-term position, a minimum of 18mths desired. You will need an up to date DBS check and your own insurance. There is no restriction regarding working with other pet care companies, but other jobs should not be mixed in with any shifts or jobs that you have with Pups Go Walking. You will also need to have your own equipment.
