Amey's Dog Services is looking for someone to help out with the ever-expanding business.
We are looking for someone with a keen passion for dogs and has a desire to work outdoors and wanting to expand their knowledge of dog behaviour. You will be covering Herne Hill, East Dulwich, Camberwell, Peckham and Nunhead area.
*YOU MUST LIVE IN OR AROUND THIS AREA AND HAVE A VEHICLE TO APPLY*
Before applying, please be aware that you must be reliable, conscientious and happy to work in any weather conditions and not worried about getting muddy! Full training and support will be given for the role but you must feel comfortable handling four dogs at a time.
To be considered for an interview you must:
- Be available Mon-Fri between 9.00-15.00 (the part-time role is flexible and can be discussed within the interview)
- Have a full driving license and vehicle suitable for fitting in 4 dogs.
- You MUST be comfortable driving. We collect all the dogs from their homes and drop them off.
- Be happy to be DBS checked.
- Be able to board dogs in your home safely.
- Be happy to be self-employed - help can be given with this, if you are not currently registered.
- Have unconditional love for dogs, experience is a bonus but not essential.
- Have a good level of spoken and written English.
- Be able to provide two references from prior employment or educational establishment.
- To be able to commit to doing this job long term.

Responsibilities and Duties
Your responsibilities will include; picking the dogs up from their homes, taking them for a walk, providing them with fun and stimulation whilst maintaining their welfare and safety at all times. Ensuring they are returned home tired and satisfied. You will also be required to send feedback forms to the owners, letting them know how their dogs walk went and taking photos of their dogs. This will be the main part of the job role but various other duties may be required to be carried out.
