Job description
DOG TRAINER_ DOG BEHAVIOURIST_ VET_ Experienced DOG WALKER_WANTED
Your job would be to do group dog walks in the morning and then depending on your expertise, training walks, behaviour consults or more walking in the afternoon.
(If experienced it is likely you will have a dog you are training amongst your easier group ones too.)
Currently these sessions take place in parks and at the clients homes, all in a very tight area but we are also interested in setting up a facility outside of London if someone is interested and experienced enough to run that, but we'd want to try you out in London for 6 months prior.
I mention Vets as well as I am confident you could earn more joining the dog walking team, perhaps whilst training as a veterinary behaviourist and perhaps conducting remote Vet consults to our clients before potentially having a surgery at the facility.
Professionals who get work through us, have always loved their work and earnt more than the average animal job. However, please note this work is not a walk in the park. You will need great physical and mental fitness to ensure you are on time and prepared and able to keep going.

How does it pay?
An experienced behaviourist conducting walks and training appts should expect up to about £220/ day. Someone with little training experience and thus would require plenty of input teaching and qualifying should expect £100-£145/ day. Someone competent with a number of dogs and teaching the basics to a high standard with challenging dogs like recall & loose lead walking could expect about £165-£185/ day. If you are the best of the best in behaviour then there is no limit to what you could get but the walking side pays very well and consistently so for highest pay you'd probably want to factor walking in too.
If you are living in the area and up for having a couple of easy dogs to stay with you on a regular basis, you can expect about an extra £10k / year.
When Can I start?
We want you soon as possible but just let us know when you are ready?
What are the hours like?
We can help you create your perfect day but generally a full day is Mon-Fri 8.30am- 4.30pm. Am’s are quite important and Ideally we like to invest in people who can work a full day perhaps with the odd afternoon off a week to study canine learning theory if thats your vibe. Again with a walker we really want full availability, if you are a super experienced behaviourist and want to give us say 1 day a week, we could work with that so long as aits regular.
