Job Details:
The Embassy of Japan in the UK seeks a highly qualified person who can perform as an assistant to diplomats of the Security Section.
Main duties:
- Security and reception desk duties
- Assist with liaising and coordinating with external agencies such as security companies
- Various research activities on the security situation in the UK
Requirements:
- English language as a mother tongue or equivalent, both spoken and written
- Hands-on experience in security-related industries is desirable
- Standard IT Skills including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams and Outlook
- IT and mechanical familiarity and interest in handling security equipment is welcome
Notes:

- The Embassy will draw up a shortlist on the basis of the application documents. Applicants on the shortlist will be invited to an interview and examination (date to be announced).

- The successful applicant will be requested to submit a certificate of a clean criminal record.

Salary: £20,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
