Salary: £24,300 - £30,600

Location: Cambridge, Hybrid (including 2 to 3 days a week in the Cambridge office)

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of multi-disciplinary researchers and support their work. The team conducts and publishes authoritative research in order to improve and develop Cambridge University Press & Assessment's products and services, and to influence thinking and policy on education, curriculum and assessment.

Some key accountabilities will be:

  • Managing and sharing our research outputs (text and video)
  • Proofing and editing reports and our journal Research Matters
  • Assisting with budgeting and the management of financial activities
  • Organising travel, conference attendance, seminars and meetings

About you

You are highly organised, have the ability to juggle multiple tasks and enjoy working both independently and in a team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • a flexible, positive, can do attitude
  • great communication with excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar
  • the ability to quickly learn new software
  • great attention to detail, and a willingness to become a highly skilled proofreader
  • a readiness to offer face to face support in our Cambridge office on 2-3 days of each week
