This role will support and partner the Business & Commercial Banking and Corporate & Institutional Banking divisions in creating an inclusive and diverse culture within our frontline businesses as a key member of the BCB & CIB People Partnering team.

  • JOB TITLE: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisor
  • SALARY: £56,421 - £62,690
  • LOCATION(S): Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, or Manchester
  • HOURS: Full Time
  • WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
This role will support and partner the Business & Commercial Banking and Corporate & Institutional Banking divisions in crafting an inclusive and diverse culture within our frontline businesses as a key member of the BCB & CIB People Partnering team.

What are we looking for?
We're looking for people with the following qualities...
  • Understand and apply I&D data (survey etc) to drive the right actions aligned to strategic business priorities
  • Support the business in the creation and implementation of an I&D plan
  • Support local teams to enable them to embed our purpose and values
  • Aid in the development and deployment of I&D initiatives and programmes.
  • Share ideas, findings, and best practice across business areas, making LBG a phenomenal place to work
  • Seeks external market insight and best / next practice to improve activity
  • Provide I&D Consultancy and deliver effective solutions that support our cultural transformation
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with divisional partners.
Key Accountabilities
  • Work with business leaders, people partners, and people teams to understand and apply I&D data to drive the right actions aligned to strategic business priorities
  • Work with business/people teams to further our purpose driven and values led inclusive culture, enabling our organisational shifts
  • Analysis of listening data, external social listening data and other I&D data, creating understanding of the themes within each business unit and supporting action to drive I&D transformation
  • Working with business leadership, develop and deliver annual I&D plans for each business area, underpinning the group plan
  • Collaborating with other CoEs, and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team and people partners to coordinate work taking place to achieve cultural and demographic change
  • Support the embedding of Group values around inclusion and diversity within the business units
  • Engaging and equipping senior leaders to be advocates for inclusivity, understanding the importance of diversity and inclusion to colleague experience and the Group’s wider I&D agenda.
  • Driving priority activity identified on business unit people and I&D plans
  • Best practice sharing across the I&D and P&P community
  • Provide Inclusion & Diversity Consultancy and be a critical friend
  • Face and voice of inclusion and diversity activity into the business unit understanding the business need
  • Support the BCB & CIB delivery of cyclical activity related to the Returners Programme, attracting top talent to LBG and retaining them in the organisation after the end of the scheme.
