The Elks Head in Whitefield is currently in the process of transition of ownership. We are on the lookout for talented individuals who can join us on our journey to put the Elks Head back on the map.
Jen & Rob, the new owners have over 50 years’ experience in the industry and bring with them a wealth of knowledge to turn the Elks Head into a renowned food destination & tourist destination within the UK.
The building itself is located within the Whitfield Estate next the river Allen and is a quaint beauty, spot which will attract guests from all over the country.
Rob the head chef/owner has a Michelin background and has obtained AA rosettes for his food in previous establishments and is looking to make his mark in the same way at The Elks Head.
We are looking for individuals who pride themselves in providing excellent customer service to our guests. We are looking for people who can serve our food and drinks in style that is consistent with high end premium eateries.
Bar, Restaurant and Hotel background experience is desirable however not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Welcoming guests in warm friendly manner
- Waiting on tables and taking food orders
- Serving food & drink
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness in all areas FOH
- A good knowledge of bar beverages and wine
- Must have a smart fresh appearance
- Working various shift patterns that include evenings and weekends
Meals provided if working more than a 6 hour shift.
Uniform provided.
