We currently have a 9 month fixed term vacancy for a Family Worker within the St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley Targeted Support Team.
The position is full time, 37 hours per week and we are looking for someone who can provide support to families in their home on a 1-1 basis, completing Early Help Assessments, acting as Lead Professional, working alongside colleagues from other agencies.
A secondment opportunity will be considered for internal candidates

What will you be doing?
The role of Family Worker is to:
- Be part of the Family worker Team within the St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley Targeted support team.
- Use a holistic and family centred approach to carry out assessments of a families needs.
- Providing targeted individual and group interventions with parents, carers, children and young people, e.g. delivering parenting/domestic abuse programmes.
- Enabling the needs of children, young people and families to be met where community-based support is insufficient.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records on relevant case management systems.
We are looking for a highly committed, enthusiastic, and hardworking professional who will be part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team supporting families throughout St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley.
Candidates must be willing and able to travel across the St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley District.
The successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
