Some of what you will do:
The Integrated Marketing Specialist will support the Integrated Marketing team in partnering with the business units and channels within Staples to create and execute world class marketing plans that drive incremental traffic, increase brand identity and customer loyalty. Their role will play a critical function in ensuring accuracy and consistency to messaging across all media meeting production deadlines.
Specifically, You Will:
- Execute integrated marketing campaigns that meet business and marketing strategies and objectives.
- Partner with appropriate teams to ensure overall process of creation, implementation, and communication of marketing campaigns in their portfolio.
- Participate in team meetings and play a role in calendar planning for the team to ensure visibility to key dates and meeting requirements.
- Contribute to cross-functional marketing teams to deliver all elements of campaigns.
- Partner with analytics team to collect data for manager analysis, insight and strategy development.
- Provide support on projects.
- Stay current with industry and marketing trends to ensure continuous improvement and ongoing skills development. Take an active role in finding process improvements to drive increased efficiency in the marketing team.
Some of what you need:
- Post-secondary education with a focus in Marketing or Communications
- 2-3 years prior experience in Marketing Coordination function
- Experience in retail industry marketing is a definite asset.
- Good business acumen, resourceful and responsive to change
- Aptitude to process and optimize processes
- Detail oriented and extremely organized
- Great collaboration, team player
- Proactive – able to search out answers and take initiative
- High proficiency using Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced workplace
