As a Distribution Manager at GSK you will be responsible for the development and execution of the business in the Partnership (Distribution) Markets including the relationship management, business strategy development and delivery as well as the compliance of the business in the defined geographical territory, managing the relationship between GSK and ALL partners in the territory, with support from the Partner Markets Team.
You will be working towards maximising the full potential of the Partners business under your responsibility ensuring availability of GSK medicines & vaccines in markets: maintain sales and seek opportunities for growth of your region whilst maximising profit and ensuring compliance.
This will also include providing support to the pharmaceutical business, managing and developing Partners, educating, advising and motivating the channel to effectively conduct beneficial, compliant, sustainable business through established way of working

In this role you will:
- Deliver the Commercial plan across assigned markets within the Partner Market through effective oversight of 3rd parties responsible for distribution in those markets and coordination of internal resources to support.
- Develop collaborative relationships with key Partners based on trust, openness, honesty and transparency; manage regular communication with 3rd parties (price increase, supply changes, portfolio optimization whilst demonstrating authenticity, values and integrity.
- Responsible for implementing the commercial strategy and operational deliverables in the markets under your responsibility to maximise the potential in these markets; this includes the execution of joint business plans with Distribution partners in your assigned territory ensuring identification of key account priorities, drivers, barriers and needs, and aligning the commercial strategy and business priorities accordingly.
- Understand the key dynamics of the distribution industry, GSK, the Partner Market business and the middle east local requirements to identify potential value-added services to Key Distributors: using this knowledge to undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis for the assigned markets in terms of potential size and share for the product, with the objective of maintaining/growing market share.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Relevant sales negotiation, senior commercial account management and strategy implementation experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry with across a varied geographical territory
- Experience of managing Key Distributor Accounts in and/or an Emerging Market would be advantageous.
- Persian language skills would be advantageous given the significant focus on these markets. Sanctions management experience is a plus
- Proven track record of effective territory management and distinguished field KPI’s.
- Well-developed commercial acumen: including sound business analytics and interpretation for effective business solution development.
- Knowledge and experience of building and developing strategic business functions covering a very wide geographical and cultural territory.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:
- Experience of managing Key Distributor Accounts in Middle East and/or an Emerging Market would be advantageous.
- Farsi language skills required given the significant focus on Iran market.
- Sanctions management experience is an advantage.
- Arabic speaking would be beneficial.
