Job description
The role will be supporting the Head of Marketing and the wider Group Marketing team in executing a variety of online and offline marketing activities across a variety of channels, including but not limited to; website maintenance, ecommerce platforms, social media marketing, email marketing, customer lead management, artwork creation and agency liaison. Whilst ensuring these are in line with business needs and demands, alongside the quarterly marketing planner.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation of adhoc email and SMS marketing campaigns to support the Marketing team with overflow projects
- Supporting and delivering the digital strategy by creating and maintain websites’ content, automated email & text marketing templates to engage online visitors and drive lead generation.
- Assist with daily database maintenance tasks.
- Management of all marketing related customer enquiries via email and text tools.
- Creation of monthly internal staff newsletter.
- Creation of adhoc artwork with the support of agencies.
- Assisting the Digital Marketing Manager with social media content creation
- Support the video content strategy, alongside the Digital Marketing Manager
- Adhoc support of events.
- Ecommerce platform(s) management– maintenance of account(s) and wider marketing tasks associated with driving enquiries into the platform(s) and reporting on performance.
- Adopt a flexible approach, enthusiastic and driven approach to achieving the financial goals of the business
- Conduct market research on competitors to ensure that the business remains ahead of the competition.
- Contribute to maintaining a high level of housekeeping and attention to health and safety issues as to create a healthy and safe working environment.
- Willingly carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by the Company.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- An interest in website content and
- Previous use of email marketing platform
- Comfortable communicating regularly with colleagues at all levels within the organisation
- Experience and/or willingness to engage with agency/suppliers.
- Knowledge of the social media platforms and content
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Knowledge of digital analytics tools (e.g Google Analytics)
- Previous event experience
- CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate
Education and Qualification
- Full UK Driving licence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Analytical approach
