Job descriptionWe have a vacancy for a Weekend Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Borders Pharmacy. We are an established and growing independent pharmacy that focuses on customer care and satisfaction.This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in starting a career in the pharmacy sector or for a student who is looking for part-time work alongside their studies.Your main duties will include:Support our pharmacist in achieving excellence in our customer experience and meeting all legal requirements.Dispensing repeat and acute medication (subject to completion of training)Liaising with Pharmacist and other members of the Pharmacy teamGive healthcare adviceMaintaining Pharmacy stock levelEssential skills and requirement:Excellent communication and listening skillsAble to comply fully and understand the importance of customer confidentialityGood organisational skills, excellent time management skills and able to work to strict deadlines and multitaskAble to build relationships with customers and colleaguesA willingness to learn and apply new skillsJob Types: Permanent, Part-timeWork Location: In person
