Job description
Momentum Logistics is currently seeking to fulfill a full time dispatch position in it's Pointe Claire, QC office.

Purpose:
Responsible for the effective management of an assigned fleet of drivers and trucks (Dry/Reefer/Flatbed).
Responsibilities:
· Creating work orders
· Planning, monitoring and executing dispatch of all outbound LTL - FTL customer loads
· Managing lanes, assets and space to ensure maximization of revenues and optimization of equipment
· Quoting and providing rates to customers
· Scheduling appointments and tracking trucks daily to ensure on time pick-ups and deliveries
· Preparing all customs documentation to ensure clearance for border crossing
· Creating drivers envelopes and warehouse road sheets
· Approving all drivers pays
· Ensuring drivers sheets are correct by verifying gate reports
· Searching for freight to fill empty lanes
· Coordinating deliveries with warehouse and garage for departures
· Providing regular and proactive customer service to all clients to maintain relationships
· Communicating with drivers regularly to maintain engagement, provide encouragement and support them with issues while delivering loads
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
