- JOB TITLE: Kitchen Porter/Dishwasher
- JOB LOCATION: The Braeside Bar & Restaurant Cookstown
- About the role:
- We are looking for Kitchen Porter/Dishwasher to join our team @ The Braeside Bar & Restaurant. This role will include weekends, day shifts & night shifts.
- Your main responsibility will be to ensure all kitchen cleanliness and assist with general food preparation. We are seeking people with excellent, hard-working attitudes.
- Job Description:
- The main duties of this role include but are not limited to:
- Washing dishes, pots, and the provision of the required equipment in the kitchen.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, floors, racks, and anything else required by the chefs.
- General cleaning duties
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
- Following all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
- Responsibility for the security and safe handling of all equipment used.
- Carrying out any other duties set by Senior Chefs in the kitchen.

- Must be able to use their own initiative and be able to work well under pressure.
- Be an excellent team player.
- Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
- Have the ability to communicate well with other team members.
